It is our pleasure to share that the ICOS Handbook 2024 has been published!
This is the 4th edition of the ICOS Handbook and includes the most up to date information on the research infrastructure and National Networks and includes the new ICOS member countries, Greece and Ireland.
The ICOS Handbook describes how ICOS operates from the organisational structure, to measurement specifications and financial requirements. It highlights the roles of the Thematic Centers and National Networks and the impacts of ICOS towards better science, better knowledge, better world.
The goal of this publication is to provide a comprehensive overview of ICOS for our community as well as for external audiences and future member countries.
ICOS (Integrated Carbon Observation System) is a European research infrastructure producing standardised high-quality greenhouse gas data in 16 countries. Our data is free and open to all users.
