The changing carbon cycle and how we manage it

The Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS) is a well-established European research infrastructure that measures CO2 and other greenhouse gases in the air, the ocean and in terrestrial ecosystems. It consists of more than 140 measurement stations of which 41 are located in the Nordic countries.
The 4th ICOS Nordic conference will be held 21-22 November 2023 in Bergen, Norway with two full days of scientific program (9 am – 5 pm) with both plenary presentations, poster sessions and possibly panel debates. Rooms are reserved for potential side-events on Thursday 23 November 2023.
The planned sessions are:
#1 Greenhouse gas fluxes in a changing world - large scientific session with broad scope
#2 The future of ICOS - emerging techniques and novel methods
#3 Beyond science: ICOS in support of policy - the use of data for the benefit of society
