ICOS co-organises with the Baltic Sea Action Group and the EP Climate Change, Biodiversity & Sustainable Development a hybrid event at the European Parliament entitled: "Nature-based solutions to increase carbon sinks on land".The event principally aims to inform European policymakers in the context of the Commission's proposal for a certification framework for carbon removals, the Nature Restauration Law and the Soil Health Law initiatives. The objective is to provide members of the European Parliament with direct access to high-level expert scientists and initiate a discussion.
The event will take place Thursday, 21st of September 2023, 13:15 – 15:00 CEST, Room PHS 7C50 at the European Parliament & online.
