H2020 project "Environmental Research Infrastructures providing shared solutions for science and society" is funded by the European Commission for the next four years
This H2020 project called ENVRIplus - "Environmental Research Infrastructures providing shared solutions for science and society" will be funded by the European Commission for the next four years.
The ENVRIplus is a cluster of research infrastructures (RIs) for Environmental and Earth System sciences, built around ESFRI roadmap and associating leading e-infrastructures and Integrating Activities together with technical specialist partners.
It has 37 beneficiaries representing 21 environmental research infrastructures.
The ENVRIplus will join forces across the traditional domains of environmental science - ocean, atmosphere, terrestrial ecosystems and solid earth.
The objective is to provide common solutions to shared challenges for European Environmental and Earth System Research Infrastructures in their efforts to deliver new services for science and society.
The project is currently coordinated by the University of Helsinki and coordination will be at the ICOS ERIC when it is established.
