Professor Andreas Stohl is Vice Dean for Research and Internationalization at the University of Vienna, Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy, University of Vienna, Austria. Andreas Stohl studies and models transport processes in the atmosphere. He has been the main developer of the open-source Lagrangian models FLEXTRA and FLEXPART. From the start of his career, he was a strong proponent of the open-source movement, making code, data and research results openly available to the public.
Dr Andreas Engel is Associate Professor for Experimental Atmospheric Research at the Institute for Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, Goethe University Frankfurt. The basis of his research are experimental studies of the chemical composition of the atmosphere. Recently, he has become more interested in tropospheric research, in the tropopause region and in questions regarding the coupling of climate change and stratospheric ozone.
